We are looking for an experienced .NET developer to build a desktop-based card game (we'll explain the rules of the game to the approved candidate). The project is estimated to take about 3 months. Quite possibly there will be a lot of improvements and additional work after the initial project is completed, and this work will be given to the same developer. We are willing to pay $8-$10 per hour to the approved candidate + considerable bonuses for good work. Outline of the project: - .NET Framework 3.5; - Desktop client based on Windows Forms; - Server application (either Web or Desktop-based); - WCF for client-server communication; - SQL Server 2005 as a back-end; - For the graphics part on the client we'll use most probably GDI+ or eventually XNA if we find a developer with experience in XNA and this proves to be a better choice. We're looking for a developer with excellent knowledge in the following areas: - .NET Framework 2.0 / 3.5 - WCF and client-server programming in general - Windows Forms and GDI+ programming - SQL Server 2005 and databases in general If you are interested, send us a message saying I WANT THIS PROJECT in the first sentence. This way we can eliminate developers who don't even read the descriptions of projects and are bidding blindly to all. If you're reading this, you already passed the first test :) We will ask you some questions and then you'll have to complete a small (yet paid by us) 2-hour test project to prove your skills. Then if you're good enough you get the job. As we're always looking for talented developers to work with, even if you're not our candidate of choice for this particular project there's a good chance if you do well on our test we'll give you other work in the near future. Best regards, misoftware
