Offsite Backup Software: overview: Reliable, efficient, automatic backups of data to a remote server through the internet. Data is compressed and secured by encryption on client. Software should consist of the following: Scheduled and Manual Backup Options: Autodial if not connected. Option to backup only new, modified data. Option to exclude certain file types. Option to backup all files. Ability to compress data or not compress data. High-Level Data Security - data is encrypted on client computer before it is transmitted to server. Ability to retrieve any version of any file you backup. Additionally, you may retrieve entire file sets based on file date and time. Retrieve: review data archives on the server (or on a CD) and retrieve selected information to the client system. Log: Activity Log summary - view information about past backups and restorations, including any error messages or problems that may have occurred. Properties: Ability to set communications and connection parameters, passwords, backup rules and preferences. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
