I'm looking for two very simple and easy to follow application examples using .NET 2.0 and Web Service Enhancements 3.0
The first is a secure .NET web service that does NOT use SSL. It also CAN NOT use Windows Authentication, Basic Authentication, or Digest Authentication. I've been doing some reading about security tokens, and believe that might be the way I'd like to go, but I'm open to suggestions.
The deliverables below give more details about the service specifications.
The second application is a client to authenticate to and consume this web service.
The deliverables below give more details about the client specifications.
## Deliverables
The besides the specifications listed in the description:
I should be able to install the web service on one computer and install the client on another computer elsewhere on the internet and make a secured connection between the two.
The web service should be a single class with three simple operations:
Class Name: SecureStringManipulator
Operation1: string Reverse(string stringToReverse)
Operation2: string DeleteFirstCharacter(string wholeString)
Operation3: string CapitalizeVowels(string normallyCasedString)
The client should be a windows form application containing:
1 text box
1 Button to Reverse the string in the textbox
1 Button to Delete the First Character of the string in the textbox
1 Button to Capitalize the Vowels of the string in the textbox
I would also like this code to be fairly well documented, I'm basically paying for a very specific tutorial. This code is not going to be used for production purposes.
Additionally, the coder must provide:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
SHould be able to run on Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, using the .NET 2.0 framework.
