I'm looking to have a 9-page website built using a CMS-preferably WordPress.
Attached are images of each page w/brief instructions, below. Detailed instructions will be provided to hired contractor.
**Home page:** Several links will direct visitors to other web pages. The Blog, News and Reference boxes will (dynamically/automatically) display the latest content from their perspective category pages
**Volunteer and Organization:** Visitors will be able to select a volunteer (column of mugshots on left), which will display their mugshot can and text in the main area. Only 10 mugshots are shown at a time.
Badge: Visitors can copy the code to display the hiphop badge on their website.
Animation: Visitors will be able to select the animation that pop-ups in a separate window. The animation is 95% complete in Flash, excluding sound (remaining 5%). Need programmer to add sound based on visitors' mouse movement. I will provide sound file.
**About:** Displays image and copy.
**Blog:** In the menu, there are two drop downs one for "Volunteer" and another for "Organization." I will provide the animation. Both pages will show a typical WordPress template that fits within the shell I designed. Features include comment area, sign in, search, Tweets and archives, discussions...
Animation: There will be an animation in the header, that shows a blinking cursor before the "b" in "blog." I will provide.
**
References:** Will display current text and archive the remaining. Customers will be able to subscribe to this page.
**News:** Will display current text and archive the remaining. Customers will be able to subscribe to this page.
**Civil Rights:** Will feature a photo gallery page that allows visitors to view thumbnails and click to a larger image with description.
**Contact:** This will feature a typical WordPress form template built within the shell I'm providing. Links to other forms of contact will be provided.
Programmer will provide a maintenance guide for client so they can make basic updates to each page such as text, images and links.
