ASP Document Library

We have a very large Document Library of PDF's about 600 to 1200 documents. We have a database (SQL 2000) that contains several fields including the DocumentID for the PDF. The PDF's are named [login to view URL], [login to view URL] etc... There is also an abstract that is written in the database that is a document summary. We would like a visitor side and an admin side where a visitor can search multiple ways for a document and then be able to download and read them. ## Deliverables The Admin side can edit the Records for each document and create/delete. They need to be able to use ASPSimple Upload to upload new PDF documents etc... There also needs to be a method of added multiple "Related" files such as a second PDF and Image or other that corresponds to a document. The user should be able to have an advance search method so that they can search for MULTIPLE key words and phrases in any order and then rank relevancy. Also search multiple categories etc... The Admin needs to be able to link "Similar" documents and articles like: "See these similar articles" The admin can edit these relationships very easy. We want this system to have a lot of features and "bells and whistles" with future expandability for later revisions. It also needs to use our existing template and look and function very easily. Maybe a Simple search and then an advance search option. We would also like you to research any nice ASP components that could make the end user experience nice maybe a PDF viewer or a "Shopping cart option" where someone could select all the documents they would like to download and at the end it would zip them up for easy download and then delete it from the system. I think you get the Idea. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform ASP Windows 2000 server and MS SQL 2000 server ## Deadline information Project needs to be completed (Beta) in 1 week or so and the final delivery in 2 weeks.
