Advice and ideas needed on a Product Information Website, compare different systems

We need advice and ideas on how to create a copy of [url removed, login to view]
Please provide us with a written comparison (english) of if possible 5 different systems (Magento, Typo3, ...), preferably open source or similar.
The company should be able to create an account with backend to upload product information. [url removed, login to view]
The company backend needs a payment option for ads, newsletter, publishing etc.
This and the frontent should be easily adjustable and expandable (Seo, plugins). There is no need for prices or a shopping cart in the frontend.
We are looking for someone with experience in different systems. For Example: Is it possible to use magento ? What needs to be modified, how? (disable prices and shopping cart). What would it cost (estimate) to create the product part of the website, and the whole project and a high quality design? Are combinations of ecommerce and CMS useful? What are the server requirements?
