Conference Photography

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am a photographer/graphic designer in Baltimore, MD. I am interested to know more details about your conference and the exact requirements in order to do this job the best that I can. I've worked in event photography for the past 3 years and take much pleasure in delivering high quality images. I have experience editing photos on site for same day slideshows, similar to your request. I'd like to know more about the dates and times of the conference to confirm that I have availability in my schedule. My bid includes me bringing a second photographer with me, so that we can get double coverage (if that is ok with you). I'd like to know if flash photography is allowed since that answer will require different equipment. I'd also like to know if there are any special requests or photos that MUST be taken? How many photos do you think you will want for the onsite slideshow? I use both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to edit photos and pride myself in that process. If it takes longer than 8 hours to edit photos, is that a deal breaker? I have a dropbox link with some of my previous photography. Patience is a virtue, especially when capturing the rapid flow of life around us. Passion does not even begin to describe the dynamicity of my love for photography. Ever since I had my first small digital camera I have been eager to capture moments around me and temporarily pause to appreciate the beauty of life. I have worked with a variety of clients, ranging from commercial construction companies and event photography to authors and individual portraiture. Candid shots are my forte. Along with video creation in place of simple slideshows. I have provided photo/video services such as yours for weddings, conferences, and company advertisements for various organizations. It would be a privilege to get a chance to do your shoot.

I’m an experienced Photographer and Graphic Designer. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from VCU, so I have a strong understanding of how design integrates with an overall brand and its marketing efforts. In my last position, I was responsible for planning and executing innovative designs, and selecting and retouching images. I also assisted with the scheduling and photo “wish list” for the photographer at our Annual Conference for 9 years. I work mostly in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and I’m comfortable with both Mac and PC. My understanding of composition and lighting in a photograph and my attention to detail make me a great fit for this event. Can you tell me a little more about the conference and your organization?

I am a photographer, filmmaker, and graphic designer in the DMV area. I currently have full days that are completely free so I am able to work swiftly and effectively.
