Lead and manage to successfully deliver the assigned Dematic Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects using the Dematic standard application DC-Director (DCD). Ensure full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans. Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources. Translate business requirements to technical design documentation. Monitor the project variables (cost, effort, quality, etc.) against the project plan in order to implement corrective or preventative actions. Write / design business blue prints and software concepts. Write customer- & key user specification / training material. Coach, guide and manage a (project) team of 2 – 8 people. Finalize all activities across the projects to formally close and hand over the project, ensuring project documents are finalized, approved and stored proper. Support the Sales-Team during acquisition phase. Strong experience of managing software projects Strong experience regarding Warehouse Management standard processes Good understanding of automated material flow processes in intra-logistics Good MS-Office skills Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end Ability to travel – domestic / international – as required Fluent English/German skills (written & verbal) Minimum of 3-4 years of progressive work experience in mid to large-scale WMS project management / consulting Good MS-Office skillsExperience with Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming Good knowledge of design patterns.
