Descripción de empleo<br />This position will report to the Card Services General Manager and will be responsible for the coordination of the strategic and financial planning, budget control and business analytics functions for the Amex proprietary issuing Mexican Business.<br />The Business Planning & Analysis Manager centralizes several planning activities ranging from strategic planning, portfolio analytics, MIS & reporting and budget management and control.<br />The role will have fluid interfaces with the Card Services Leadership, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Controllership, Accounts Payable, Bank Operations, Central Operational Excellence, Technologies and Facilities.<br />The position has a key role along the execution of the Card Services Strategy with strong exposure to the Senior Leadership. He/She should have multitasking abilities and a major analytical background to execute the following activities:<br />•Strategic Planning: Support the Card Services planning agenda including BURs, market visits, business presentations and strategic planning process.<br /><br />•Budget Control: provide A&P, operational expenses, sales commission and S&B monthly budget reports. Perform on-going budget analysis to identify variances and potential risk and opportunities.<br /><br />•Reporting: Design and implement the MIS plan including monthly dashboards, P&L reviews, macroeconomic and industry indicators, cardmember spending and revolving behavior, loyalty and customer engagement indicators<br /><br />•Analytics: Centralize ad-hoc business analysis including acquisitions, loyalty, lending, and customer engagement.<br /><br />•Manage Legal & Regulatory and SQP funds in alignment with Operational Excellence Team, Business, Finance and Tech Teams, defining the market priorities and leveraging requirements across Lines of Business.<br /><br />Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.<br /><br />Qualifications <br /><br />Results Driven: Capacity to manage at the same time multiple and complex activities that result in transformational outcomes.
