I have a database consisting of a table of TV channels, a table of audio channels and a table of rooms. Different rooms need access to different TV channels and audio channels. To detail which channels are allowed and which ones aren't I have tables in between (RoomTVChannel and RoomAudioChannel). Each entry in these tables has a room key, a channel key and a 'ChannelEnabled' value to detail whether the channel is allowed in that room. The part that's missing it that I need the entries in the RoomTVChannel and RoomAudioChannel tables to be created when a new room is added to the room table, an entry for every channel from the channel tables. When entries are first created they should default to 1 (enabled). When a room is deleted the RoomTVChannel and RoomAudioChannel entries should be deleted. If a room is updated the change should cascade to the tables. The only slight difference between the RoomTVChannel and RoomAudioChannel tables is that the TV channel table has a binary value as a channel can only be enabled or disabled but the RoomAudioChannel entry is an integer as it could have a number of different states.
