Its about creating and managing a database for personalised medicine for cancer. A patient visits the doctor, symptoms and patient history are entered. Depending on this, patient is sent to laboratory for cancer test. If tested positive then genetic testing is done by taking patient blood. Both these results are compared to a table which contains the gene type and cancer caused. Each gene type has a set of drugs which they are resistant to. This again is compared using another table. There is another table which has a list of drugs and targeted gene type. Based on this, best treatment option available is prescribed.
