My iOS app B*ware uses Google Maps API so I am familiar with adding / displaying markers on a map. In my case I use a SQL Server database and ASP.NET MVC (C#) Web API for the back end. Which also means I pay about $100 a year for a shared host. I believe Firebase could be a viable option for the backend for you and I'm willing to learn it. As far as I know, you can then start at a free tier and pay for the backend only if/when your app becomes popular. One question that comes to mind right away based on the requirement of "ability to add the location of top the map when facity is on offer at new locations" - Who should be allowed to add new facilities? If this is restricted then there is another layer of complexity - So the user would have to be logged in / authorized? Some things to think about. FYI: The price quoted is for an iOS app only. Also, I'm no designer so I would need any graphics / logos to be provided if you are looking for something stellar.
