BI,ETL Professional

Hi I have been working with MSSQL for over 14 years. I am fully experienced as a developer and a DBA. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I am responsible for the BI department. I have designed and the Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. The database is being updated daily from the core system via SSIS or with direct connection at mainframe’s DB2 and a numerous of KPIS are being daily updated during the ETL. For isolation reasons the KPIS are replicated to another DB (with transactional replication) which exploits the reports via SSRS to the consumers. Some KPIS are being replicated with updateable replication. Also, 10 Cubes in SSAS are being daily automatically processed and the end of the ETL. Several other reports are daily automatically produced and sent via email to the recipients. Finally I have designed and developed the bank’s crm DB which is published on the intranet. The DB holds full information about the customers (Customers,Addresses , Financial Data , Contacts , campaigns , etc) and covers 4 countries. To do so i have made partitions over the country code. The size of the Reporting DB, is about 4TB and consists of about 4.000 objects and the replicated KPI DB is 350GB. Best Regards mpalgeo

This project is pure DWH project which comprised of DWH concept,Informatica as ETL tool and Business Object & Qlikview as reporting tool. Hi, Below mentioned are my projects. ETL Tool : Ab-initio 3.0 Data Base : Oracle Client : Allstate Insurance (U.S) Company : Syntel Ltd. 1. Integrated Data warehouse Management – Quotes Module This project maintains huge amount of data related to Quotations for client. It uses Star Dimensional modeling to maintain the data warehouse. This module has 7 profile dimensions, 2 Key-maps (FACT less fact) and Four FACTS. The application IDM Quotes involved the creation and maintenance of the client repository which has all the relevant customer data along with the transaction data related to quotes. This involves extraction, cleansing and loading of the data from the various transactional systems. The output of the application makes the analysis of business simple and gives an overview to the client of how the business is performing. It also gives weekly and monthly snapshot to the users indicating how many quotes have gone serious and how many have been converted to the policy. 2. Integrated Data warehouse Management – Policy This project maintains huge amount of data related to policy for client. It uses Star Dimensional modeling to maintain the data warehouse. This module has 11 profile dimensions, 4 Key-maps (FACT less fact) and one FACT. Other projects is Drivewise 1.5, Cross Sell, Quotes Standard Layer.
