HDSL connection configured on the router and firewall with X.X.X.X adresses class
PCs and other peripherals hardware (printer, scanners etc...) connected cable with static IP on adress class X.X.X.X
WiFi Access Point in bridge mode
Both Windows and Linux local servers (about 4/5 servers, domain server, mail server, web server, oracle server, storage, etc....) configured on adress class X.X.X.X
Local PCs log into some applications hosted on local servers.
Some applications also have access from outside the LAN, through the dedicated pfsense firewall
We don't know all the features installed on the servers, neither the softwares running on and how they interact with the network.
A wireless connectivity that will replace the HDSL current connection
router on addresses class Y.Y.Y.Y with DHCP disabled
Goals to achive
PCs have to surf internet using the new connectivity, that through the gateway on Y.Y.Y.Y adress class.
Maintainence of the adresses class X.X.X.X on PCs and local server, so PCs can reach and log into the applications hosted on local servers. So the primary goal is to NOT change the local servers configuration, because in that case their behavior will be not perfectly predictable
Enable DCHP on the new connectivity router
Move the wifi access point on the new network, always in bridge mode
More details will be shared after the project will be awarded.
We require technical advice (via chat and email) both at inception and during the migration to the new configuration.
The new configuration will have to be up and running by 30/11.
