HI VMware EXSI without local CD/USB drive. I use PXE for this. So, you need have another server in LAN with first. It will be used for PXE. You must upload software on another server and provide me ssh access to both servers.

Hi, I will install VMWare ESXi 4.1 on your server but it will require DRAC, iLO, or IPMI (remote console) access to the server as ESXi must be installed from a CD/DVD ISO image not from within Linux (it is its own operating system). If you do not have this capability or a way to PXE network boot the server from another server, then I am afraid no one will be able to help you with the installation. I will also install all of the security and maintenance patches and configure networking. I will also install pfSense or similar router software to provide firewalling and DHCP inside of your server. Please make sure the server is on the compatibility list for ESXi 4.1, especially the hardware RAID controller as ESXi can not support soft raid 1. The machine really needs to have Intel E1000 NICs on it as well. Additionally, ESXi 4.1 does not have any firewall capability so please consider using ESXi 5.5 if possible. If you are simply trying to get around the 32GB ram limit, I may suggest alternate ways to get an evaluation or partner license for 5.5 so that you do not have to use outdated software. Thanks!

In order to install i will need you to provide me access to the server (a valid URL) and keep the server connected in order to make the installation faster :) i also will need root access to the unix server in order to install and freely configure and setup the environement, then i will ask you when done, to provide me your EXSI license to install it and then you can start using it, you can then change the root pass :) my job will be limited to installing the environement, the client VM creation and configuration and the how to use will not be handeled by this courant job. i will handle the installation on the server and EXSI startup only
