What I need: A better Joomla template/theme that is similar to the one I have now. I like the template I'm currently using but it's a "rocket theme" and apparently, it isn't compatible with the new Kunena forum I've just updated to. Users are unable to edit their Kunena profiles and the bbCode toolbar is not showing up.
Most of the website was created by someone other than myself, so what I know of Joomla has been self-taught through trial and error during the past 7 months. I don't have the time to try and figure out what's wrong with every little hiccup that occurs (and there have been many) so here I am for the third time asking for someone's help. :)
Besides the theme / Kunena issue, these are current problems I am also facing:
In JComments, user levels below Super Administrator are unable to post comments to articles or the JoomGallery (JComments is enabled in both). This just started about a week ago, still don't know what in the hell is wrong there.
When making or editing an article, user levels below Super Administrator are unable to utilize the embed media button in TinyMCE editor. It has been this way since we started the website and we have two Managers that need this access.
Registered users unable to login for various reasons and with various errors (There was a security issue about a month ago and someone from Freelancer was able to fix it, but users had to reset their passwords in order to login again - but a lot of users are still unable to login after resetting their passwords. This may not be a Joomla issue, but it doesn't hurt to mention it.)
I think those are the major issues that I need help with. I'd definitely need to be able to get in contact with the person that wins this bid, so an active email or even phone number or instant messenger.. SOMETHING. I wouldn't be here again if I'd been able to contact the last two Freelancer people that I used.
I'm running Joomla [url removed, login to view] and Kunena 1.6.3
Also, this is a fan site - we don't make any money from it except from Goodle AdSense and if you know anything about AdSense you know it takes months to see any revenue from that crap (we've had it four months and still no check smh) so if you're looking for any compensation over $30-40 you can kindly ignore this job posting. Heck, if you just want to give me some free advice I'd be eternally grateful! Honest, reasonable people only - please. Thank you for reading.
Update: I do not need a Joomla website, I already have one. I need help with the modules/components/plugins within the Joomla website.
