Get data from linkedIn using java to extract from linkedin API
*examples given after every section including files attached (2 java scripts used to create the excel file attached + 2 relevant jar libraries)
* Willing to pay up to 100$ as this is not a "Start from scratch" project. the examples are very helpful. (Questions about the file in PM)
Company Search API: ([login to view URL])
Need to extract data of companies with keywords related to "Big Data" (see below for related keywords), into an xml file from linkedin API.
Need between 3000-5000 companies
The data needed is the following:
name,
website-url,
specialties,
employee-count-range,
founded-year,
end-year,
status,
locations:(address:(city,postal-code),is_active),
num-followers
Filters for data: ([login to view URL])
employee-count-range = B,C,D
industries: 129, 118,5,4,3,43,84,96,6,141,97,135,113,8,119
hq-only=0
locations in the following countries: USA, U.K, Israel, India, Germany, Brazil, Australia
(if there aren't enough companies from these countries, you can add more countries such as Canada, Japan, France etc.)
Company Products API: ([login to view URL])
1. Return a list of products and services supported by the companies found above
2. Return recommendations for each product found (if exist)
Company Updates API: ([login to view URL])
Retrieve the following update types of each company find:
job-posting,new-hire, position-change, profile-change, new-product, status-update
Job Lookup API: ([login to view URL])
Find the jobs offered by each company found (retrieve all fields)
Company Statistics API: ([login to view URL])
Retrieve status-update-statistics,follow-statistics of each company (If possible)
People Search API: ([login to view URL])
Only used to find the exact number of employees of each company (not employee_count_range), I believe it is needed to use the people search API.
(maybe by finding all employees with the company nane on their profile. not sure)
* Eventually need to be able to see this data organized in an Excel file
