Summary
An online directory type a bit like Freelancer where users (consumers and businesses) can post a project and invite tenders from local businesses.
Process
Buyer registers/logs in and post a job/ project (eg a plumbing job)
Buyer selects 3 suppliers to pitch for the project
Supplier gets notification that they have been selected to tender
Supplier pays a fee to get access to each tender (fees are preset at a fixed level but there are different fees)
End of process
Notes on Process and Limits to Functionality
The sales negotiation between buyer and seller takes place independently outside of this project (we do not get involved in the management or evaluation of tenders: we simply allow the facility for the buyer to find the sellers and the sellers to be available to buyers.
Buyer pay for each tender on a project by project basis
Supplier subscriptions to premium services are annual
Suppliers subscribe annually using online payments via automated subscription type payments
The site will be restricted to the UK only and will ultimately be launched in multiple deployments e one for each areas of the UK. initial deployment ill be with one small area only eg Aberdeen City
Buyers
Buyers can :
register for free
Add/edit delete multiple projects
Add feedback on projects and suppliers
Suppliers
Suppliers can:
register for free
add a listing for free
upgrade and input additional sales information
Super Admin
Add/edit delete all users (buyers, suppliers)
Admin the entire site
Technology
Develop using Wordpress as core system CMS
Customisation should be dome using php and My Sql within framework of Wordpress
Draft Database schema will be provided by us
Process workflow diagrams will be provided by us
Payment systems provider will be Sagepay in the UK
Look and Feel
We will provide all visual interface wire frames
Freelancer will provide graphic design services Ie full visual design based and hand over all raw materials on completion (psd files, eps, etc)
Hosting
We will provide hosting domain and email services for final deployment
Developer will provide us with the final files and database export for us t deploy on our servers
Developer to inform us of any extraordinary hosting facilities are required
Development and Testing
Freelance supplier will provide yes hosting facility for testing, development
Intellectual Property
All IP will be assigned to and remain with us
Timescales
Appointment of developer late June
Completion end July/mid August
