Illustrator & Graphic Designer with music knowledge preferred

We are seeking to engage a talented illustrator to design a range of teaching aids to teach music to primary age children, specifically 4-6 years old. We prefer a style that is unique, (not so computer animated) possibly hand drawn or painted. There will be some graphic design in creating the overall style of the resources, plus illustrating the characters and backgrounds. Some knowledge of music will be very helpful, as these resources will use English nursery rhymes to teach beat, rhythm, notes etc. The resources will be available to be printed up to A3 size (Or US equivalent). We have a list of approximately 16 songs, and we would like to make a pack for each song which would include 4 pages: A cover page, a beat page, a rhythm page and a page combining beat and rhythm. The example below is from another teacher, it is very simple and clip art orientated. We are seeking to create something similar in the way it will be used for teaching and in the layout, but more creative and engaging for the children. We also have ideas for other worksheets and simple games that need to be illustrated. We will provide the idea and layout for each song, and show you how the beat and rhythm needs to be displayed. Please reply with your hourly rate, and an estimate of how long you think it would take to create the art for 1 song (4 pages as above) plus examples of your illustrations. Thanks,
