Build a Website for an Online Record Shop / Record Label / Blog

[login to view URL] has been operating as an online record store for around a year now, however the majority of my business has been done through other sites (mainly [login to view URL]). Therefore I have decided to stop selling records directly through my website as it was extremely time consuming having to upload all of my stock one by one.

Hence why I am changing the way my website looks and works.

Essentially what I am after is something nice and simple that looks the part, so when people google you the fact I have a web presence it helps me look more legit/professional rather than a heavy site with lots of features. A black and white colour scheme would suit as that would match my logo (attached) however I am openminded with regards to the colour scheme. I was hoping that background or banner images that I upload would provide the colour.

Homepage:

Long scrolling page - Clean “Bootstrap” style page with plenty of images and interesting fades/dividers into each section

A quick "About Us” section

"What We Do" section - More technical detail of the services I provide / products I sell

Discogs Feed - Could possibly feature a discog’s feed although maybe a simple call to action with a link would be better?

Blog Feed - Small section featuring 2-3 of the latest blog posts

Social Media Links - To Facebook, Souncloud and Instagram

Contact section - Contact form or email & phone details

Footer - with contact details and links to rest of the site

OTHER PAGES (Listed in a easy to use Menu)

About Us:

Bio - explaining again, what I am and why I do what I do

Social? - A link to my social feeds. Maybe add an Instagram feed in this part that will act as a gallery (this would be good here as it's a good chance to show a quick snapshot of what I am up to)

All relevant contact information along with a contact form that goes direct to my email.

Footer - with contact details and links to rest of the site

Shop:

Links to various pages of my Discogs account. Different genres that when people click on them, it directs them to the right page on my Discogs page.

Have a "Merchandise" section on this page where I will sell T-shirts, stickers, accessories through Woocommerce (or similar) as I have been with records previously.

Blog:

Simple and to the point - blog post page, can probably bring in some style elements used in the homepage here to give it a bit of character.

Label:

As I am yet to release any music, for now this section will detail the "vision" of the record label and who to contact with any related inquiries.

This will eventually be a page that contains all the latest news regarding record releases from the label as well as an access to the back catalogue.

Events:

Two sections. "Parties" where you will find links to all the up and coming gigs we are involved in or that we are interested in, and Record Fairs which will detail any venues where we will be selling records.

The site will need to be easy to alter by myself if desired and it also needs to be simple to add content such as blog posts, picture and links.

If I choose you to take my project forward, I hope we can build a strong working relationship in order to come to a desired finished product.
