Our website, [url removed, login to view] has recently posted an advert for a Flash Developer position. While having an onsite staff member would be great, we are also open to hiring a few freelancers (with an optional staff position).
We currently have a handful of flash games currently on our site, however, we need more!
We are looking for freelancers who wants to make a little $ in their free time by making the skeletons of flash games for us.
The ideal candidate will be someone relatively new to flash (but capable of creating -and finishing- a small-medium sized game) and is looking to improve and expand their programming skills and knowledge.
You will receive all specifications and direction from us, and you must be able to stay in regular contact with us via Email or Skype.
Your main focus will be the functionality of the games you create - our talented art team will be on standby to create any art required for the finished product, so you dont need to worry about the look and appearance of the game(s).
The programming style and syntax can be done in any way you see fit, provided that it is easy to understand for any future programmers that may look through your code.
Our send score feature is programmed in ActionScript 2, therefore the ideal candidate will be able to program using ActionScript 2 to ensure full compatibility with our system.
Upon project completion, you will be required to send us a completed .fla backwards compatible (if applicable) with Adobe CS5. (Saving it as an earlier version of flash will work just fine also!)
This is a paid position, and payments will be made via PayPal. A price for each game created will be agreed beforehand, however payment will be sent once we have received the working .fla
The Flash Developer selected can optionally become a staff member on IcePets. As a staff member you will have access to all development/support based discussions, along with receiving a "Gold Account" (account upgrade) for the duration of your service as a staff member.
