We are looking for an expert in AWS + Docker + Jitsi for refactoring existing server architecture. Currently we have an EC2 instance with linux 18.04 LTS running jitsi-docker ([login to view URL]) with the basic docker-compose configuration (container for WEB, JICOFO, one JVB, PROSODY and one JIBRI). We have to manage from 500 to 5000 concurrent users in different rooms so we need to add additional JVBs server for load balancing (with other EC2 instances or using ECS or with other better systems). We need also the possibility to turn on or off the JVBs if needed, without making changes on the whole systems. [login to view URL] We need also to know if there is a way on AWS to automatically handle the JVBs (turning them on or off) if the system need more resources or at the peak of the system usage (for example from 09.00 to 18.00, CPU usage, etc.)

I can work it out with ecs, I saw the code base specifically compose file has volume mounts. Since your are running all of these on a single ec2 instance you were able to use bind mount easliy. But when it comes to more stable solution you need your containers placed on multiple instances in case to address instance failures and such. And ecs has its own advantages when it comes to placing containers or even the deployment process. Reach out to have a deeper discussion and get started.

Hi, I can simulate all these SETUP with my own AWS Resources and then can implement change in your AWS Current infrastructure. You can use AWS Fargate containers+ECS for automated scaling up and scaling down of additional servers. Or you can use the Cloudwatch alarm to do the same. Adding additional days for support on this after delivery as well. Let me know if you are interested to talk more on this.. You would get documentation from me as well on setting up this.

I can fully manage you AWS Infrastructure through Terraform. or if you don't want terraform than I can manage it through AWS console. To handle the traffic we can use autoscaling features in AWS. Where we can scale the ec2 base on the resource used or schedule scaling. besides that we can also used ecs (ec2 with autoscaling) or fargate (much expensive). based on you requeirement I can easily configure the system. and provide you the Documentation at the end.

Your problem can be solved via different approaches but the best one would be where the resources automatically scale up and scale down as per need. This can be achieved using Kubernetes.
