Fill in a Spreadsheet with Data

The project involves downloading data from the 2001 South African Census, which is available online from Statistics South Africa's SuperWEB2 data source at [login to view URL] A data set (.csv or Excel) should be created with the level of observation being sub-place (lowest geographical unit) and a list of variables. Please give two bids, one bid for a data set including the variables population, employment status, individual monthly income, highest educational level, population group/race, interacted (highest education level)*(population group); and one bid for a data set including those variables and the variable age for a limited number of values (25 values; 0,1,2,...,24). Full instructions on how to access the data repository and the variables of interest are attached. Note that these instructions include information on how to create and export a table, but that this is not necessarily the method suggested for obtaining the data from the site. An example data set has been attached which includes two values of an interacted variable (enumeration area)*(highest education level). In this example, there is an observation for every sub-place in the country, as well as for each province, district, local municipality and place. The final data set required for this project needs to include only sub-place (e.g. drop all observations in example data set where sub-place=="All"), but the ordering of the sub-place in the attached example and the final data set should be the same (i.e. matches the order on the website providing the data).
