I have 8 years experience as a Recruiting Specialist and 5 years experience as a writer. In this time I have critiqued and developed thousands of resumes. I have been responsible for hiring in many different sectors (HR, Sales, Engineering, Temp, Marketing, Industrial, Professional Services, Government). Also I lived in the US for 4 years and am a Native English Speaker from Toronto Canada. 95% of my clients are still from the US and I do sales calls into the US on a daily basis
My process is simple but effective. I will need your resume and a briefing on what specific jobs you are looking for. I will look at all aspects of the resume, design, formatting, and content. I will look at compare to other highly skilled professionals in that field of work. What I am looking for is an attention grabbing resume that stands out among the thousands of applicants, but beyond that I will be looking for substance....Have you detailed your experiences and skill sets in an impressive manor? Am I clear about your qualifications as a candidate? Would I want to hire you if I was in the HR role? I will provide my honest feedback, I will offer many suggestions which you can pick and choose which to implement.
I am sure you can likely find someone to do this project for a couple dollars cheaper but I feel with my background you won't find another freelancer with the experience and dedication to excellence that I have worked so hard to achieve.
