Email and compare software

Hi There, I have gone through requirement and text file. I won't waste your time describing about my profile and will mention doubts and approach below. Regarding text file most of things are pretty clear except below one 1. "4. please reserve space to keep at least 20 records (one record = one email main body text) give each record a index number and note the date and time we received the message." Can you please provide more description? 2. Can you please draw some UI interface on paper or paint so that I can get your expected UI experience? Approach: 1. I will use VS 2013 Ultimate to develop this project with C#. I can develop UI with Windows Form or WPF based on your inputs. 2. For logging, I will use log4net for neat logging. 3. For email checking, I will use SMTP classes provided by .NET framework 4. For Notification and alarm, I will use timers with configurable time interval on UI. 5. I will do exception handling and logging in proper way so it won't crash ugly way if so. I am available on skype/teamviewer/gmail for more detailed discussion if you want. Hope to hear from you soon. Hi, Just saw the attached file. Looks like you need a bot which will check your mail by pop3 or SMTP. It will check mail in a user specified interval and sound a bell if there is any new email and will log everything. I am expert in text processing so it wont be any matter me to process those email text. Please let me know if you want me to work on this project. Thanks Barun

hi, i have read the attached text file and i got few questions. 1) you only want access using POP3 ? Not using IMAP ? 2) What is record compare time & Acknowledgement waiting time ? what it means ? 3) Send Email when alarm initialed !! don't understand 4) label the records as "compared", labeling email is internal feature of particular email service provider which isn't related With POP3 protocol, so, you need to find some other solution would help here. 5) Do you accept Interface as per my idea ? it will be clear & clean, user friendly. You can count my profile's review and rating and in past i did one email checking application but it was using some 3rd party component but with this application i will not use any 3rd party component, all code will be written by my hand. I have browse through the txt file. And for me the application you want is a string manipulating application which do certain actions when certain standard is met. There is not obvious difficulties in developing such an application. Only thing we need is time and some patient to make the user interface convenient to use. It seems to be a stock/futures altering application. I happens have developed many stock managing application in the past. I am a very experienced C/C++, java and python developer. I suggest your application to be coded in java due to its platform independence. BTW, I can future develop data analyzing applications to help you develop trading strategies. I have done that before.

HI, I am very experience developer with .NET skills. As you application target to run on specially windows system so, I believe a .NET application will be good enough to serve your purpose. After reading your requirement text file, here are my thoughts and questions - The interface panel will be occupy the entire screen and options will go in to the menu bar. This will allow to have 20 records easily. So there won't be any need for 'show records' button - When you say 'delete the records if more than 20', what kind of delete it is - deleting completely from the system or just from the interface panel(soft delete)? - In what format will be the email body - text or HTML?
