Change API for my Android App from custom to WP REST API V2

I have an Android app that connects to my WordPress blog, I wrote a WordPress custom REST plugin to use API from the Android to request content e.g. categories, posts from my WordPress plugin. My App can be found on Google Play - [login to view URL] As WordPress is maturing with the WP REST API V2, I have a small project to help me completing the work of switching from the old API method to the WP RESY API V2. I have started the work need help to complete. The work is straight forward, the API will change from the old once [login to view URL]; [login to view URL] To the new one [login to view URL]; [login to view URL] .The work is to change the parsing of the data from the new urls as they are different from the old. In the new API image, author, comments, categories are all id's and would have to make the call like below.
