Project Proposal for Advanced System Projects Dynamic Web Application Using J2EE technology. MVC Application. (JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, JSP, Servlet, Java Beans, Spring/Struts2, Hibernate) Project: It is an E-Commerce website called (E-Tronics) which sells electronics products like mobile phones, tablets, Cameras, Laptops, Watches etc. The Website will have a user interface which will help the user to navigate between the pages. All the products will be classified according to their brands for each section. At the top there will be as search bar to find any products available to sell. The user can navigate through the website and add the product to the cart to check out the items purchased. The user can login through his own account which will store his necessary information like Name, phone number, shipping address etc. any time he/she needs to shop. UI Design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery coding in JSP pages) –View Java Bean Class – It will act as Model where we can write the business logic. – Model Servlet Class – It will act as a Controller where the request is sent to the server. – Controller Functionality: User Interface: The web page is supposed to put an image for each product with its details and price. The user can click on the item to view its details and then move it to cart to purchase the item. In the cart the user has the option to select the quantity and checkout directly or login to his account and order the item. The search engine will find the product by its name or by its item number. Query the database to find the products. Mostly using the database MySQL with Apache server (XAMPP). Use of Relational Database. Administrator: The admin will be able to login with admin credentials to add products with all details, approve orders, and send mail confirmation of the order.
