Looking for WordPress Pro to take over Project. (Aptos) If you live in or near Santa Cruz and are looking for WordPress clients, I have one for you. I was helping my friend in Santa Cruz rebuild his site in Wordpress. Then I recently moved from Sacramento to Maine and got a full-time job as a web developer/manager and I just can't finish the project. You'll need to know WooCommerce, Ultimate Member, Gravity Forms, and bbPress (all installed.) The site is hosted at a great shared hosting service. Images, content and product description already exist. Genesis theme and subtheme installed. It's a quirky project because he wants to have people view his products online, but not buy them right there in a standard e-commerce shopping cart. He wants them to fill out a survey (that's why GravityForms,) then pay a $35 consultation membership fee. Then he calls the people and takes the order over the phone. Once people have paid the membership fee they have access to forums and member directory. That's why bbPress and Ultimate Member - which is better than BuddyPress IMO. But if you like BuddyPress, go for it. Getting this site up with the functionality I described above is the primary task. A secondary phase, which I was planning from the outset to find a freelancer to tackle, is importing/migrating his legacy user/order mySQL data from his old site. If that's unreasonably difficult or too expensive, then he'll have to live with starting over and doing a lot of manual entering.
