Company Logo Design and colour concept

I am starting a company called "Ellis Myers" which will be a recruitment company. I am looking to get a logo designed for the company, as well as a colour scheme for the brand identity, website etc. In terms of the logo itself, it needs to be contemporary yet business like. It could be a play on the "E" and the "M" or it could simply be a particular font with a colour. Either way the logo needs to look good on a website aswell as in print, and should stand out for communicating modern, high value and "cool". In terms of colours I am very keen to have a scheme that either involves a deep blue, or a red and light grey scheme, although I am open to suggestions. The colour scheme needs to be reflective of the brand. To give you an idea, my last site design with the logo can be found at www.purerecruitmenttraining.com. Here you'll see the logo is minimalistic and sharp and the site colour scheme is very current and clean. Please dont take this site as your inspiration as I'm not necessarily looking to do the same thing. I am looking to work with a highly creative logo and brand concept designer.
