Project description
We require a responsive design and html 5 build of our website in order to ensure it can be viewed effectively on multiple different screen sizes.
Company background
We are a small manufacturer of hand made frozen pizzas that are ethically made with love in Byron Bay, Australia.
This will be our core brand website. Its function is to inform people about our products, how we make them, and where they can buy them as well as open communication between clients/potential clients & our company.
Project timelines
We require all files in order to publish and go live by the 13/3/2013. Therefore we suggest the following timeline. If you can work faster, we are happy to move deadlines forward but will not tolerate extension of deadlines beyond the following:
Deadline for first draft designs: 10 March 2013
Design amends and final content: 11 March 2013
Designs signed off: 12 March 2013
HTML 5 assets due: 14 March 2013
Specific requirements
Header:
> Persistent header including a clickable company logo which returns users to the homepage.
> Other key elements to be included in the header include a Facebook Like button and Follow us on Instagram button.
Navigation and information architecture (IA):
> Single level navigation from home page (horizontal format) linking to 6 sub pages. See IA diagram below for details.
> Users should be able to navigate the website using a persistent horizontal menu of six tabs representing the six sub pages. Each tab should highlight (change colour) on rollover.
Social sharing options:
> A button to ‘Like’ our Facebook page available within the website header
> A button to ‘follow’ us on Instagram available within the website header
> Suppliers and stockists websites should be represented as clickable hyperlinks
Colour palette:
> Our primary colour palette is orange, charcoal and white. Please match colours to the logo provided.
> All key page templates should be designed with white backgrounds and charcoal body copy. Headings should be charcoal or orange.
Content:
> Key content including brand assets (logo) & copy with this brief.
> We will supply the majority of images by the 9th of March with a couple of key product shots to be supplied by the 11th of March.
> We will supply final copy along with required design amends by the 12th March 2013.
Preferred fonts:
> Helvetica Neue
Page templates:
> Please refer to the attached sketches of preferred page layouts for details. We are aware this is pretty rough and are open to some changes of this lay out and any design ideas that will add to the visual appeal of the site providing it is in line with our current branding (reference of core branding supplied)
Key assets:
We have included our logo, all copy (keeping in mind there may be a few minor changes before going live), drawings of preferred layout, and a reference website for the navigation and functionality as well as an example of how we want the site to work across computer/tablet/smartphone devices. The majority of images will be supplied by the 9th
