My server prints off thousands of letters a day. This application server opens winword, prints the letter, then closes winword. It does this very fast and keeps opening to print, then closing, then opening, prints, then closes. and so on. Sometimes [login to view URL] in the task manager hangs, and doesnt close, therefore the next letter does not print. This then needs manually closing from the task manager by myself. It HAS to work in this way, so.....I want something that will detect if its been idle for say 3 minutes, and then closes [login to view URL] so that it can carry on with the next print. Because it prints so fast, i need it to detect idle process and not just the fact its been open for 3 minutes. I tried to use a program called SciTE4AutoIt3, and ideally i want it designed in this program. [login to view URL] . I also want things such as if a password screen pops up close that, if it comes up with "save as" I want that auto closing aswell. I want an explanation of how you did it, and the ability to updat it myself in the future. This needs to be a very simple program that just runs in say the taskbar. An example of the program is attatched
i ll do, i ll monitor the winword process.
If the process run for more than x time and its has the same process id that the last time the winword was running i ll terminate it.
Openprocess
Killprocess.
It will work fine.
Ill do in c++.
With a tray bar
I have experience of some autoclick programs.
To meet your demand ,i'll monitor winword and other process that to be closed automatically,enven it can auto complete some job you have made in schedule.
