We are a start up launching a peer to peer ride sharing App in NZ and Australia, quickly followed by USA and Asia. We are launching in June/July 2016 and looking for a member support person to join us on a contract basis at that time to work the Australia/NZ business hours time zone. We are looking for a bilingual customer service specialist who can speak and write both English and Spanish. We are looking for customer service specialists to deliver online and email based member service and support. This will include helping members with any questions or issues they may have about using our App and directing them to our online tutorials. Service delivery may include online chat. We are launching in both iOS and Android so familiarity with both operating systems from a user perspective, will be an advantage. Similarly, customer service for mobile applications will also be highly regarded. We require excellent written English and Spanish skills and, although we don't intend to deliver phone based customer service, clear and articulate spoken English and Spanish will be an advantage. Initially, we are looking to hire on a casual basis to deliver support as required perhaps 5-10 hours in the first few weeks. As we grow, the number of hours will increase and there will be the opportunity to become a more permanent part of our team. Please respond to this post in English. Questions 1. Hello I am bilingual Spanish-English, I have been working as a freelancer for more than 3 years doing translations, transcriptions, data entry and virtual assistant jobs, mostly with U.S. based companies. I am looking for a long term job. I like to help people and I am glad to work with previous clients. Q&A 1. I worked for 2 months with a CRM project and customer service handled via email. (not much experience but I know what it is about and how to talk to a customer) 2. I have done online (skype) chat with clients for projects a lot. 3. right now I am about 40hr available. 4. I haven't worked as a customer service person for mobile apps. 5. It was a date site. 6. during the time I worked with customer service, I helped a person to change his user name and his email. 7. Hello, I'm just began with freelancer.com and I'm getting an idea of what is to work online. I have a lot of experience in customer assistance, because I have been working in the touristic sector for the last two years, in different countries. As for the languages, I've studied with Spanish and English my whole life. I can translate both languages without a problem. And as an extra, I speak and write, almost without mistakes in French and Brazilian Portuguese. I have worked with J.D. Powers & Associates, Anthem Blue Cross, Retail, Sales 6. I was helping a lady find a Dress for an event she was attending, after finding the dress she had really liked but when she tried it on it did not fit, and could not order another dress because it would not be here in time. I suggested that we remove the zipper and make the dress into corset, she loved the idea and the dress came out looking really nice. 7. 1. I've had one year and three months of experience in customer service. 2. I've never done chat, however, I currently provide email customer service for Coursera. 3. -Sundays: I can work from 4:30pm-10pm CST. -Monday thru Thursday: I can work from 8pm-10pm CST. -Friday and Saturday: All day. I can work all night on Thursdays and Fridays if required. 4. Coursera has mobile app and half the emails we receive are for app support, so yes. I'm currently studying Computational Engineering so I'm very comfortable with learning technical procedures. 5. Wireless communications for Cricket Wireless for 3 months. (Feb 2015 - May 2015), and MOOCs for Coursera for 11 months (June 2015 - currently). 6. Coursera offers online courses, which are paid. Refund deadline is two weeks after purchase, and it's a very strict policy. So this lady contacted us almost a month after the refund deadline, asking for a refund because his son just died. I instantly felt the need to help her, and contacted Coursera to get her a refund extension. Long story short, I got her the refund. Coursera itself congratulated me. It feels really especial knowing you've helped someone. 7. As mentioned above, I love the fact that I can make a real impact on someone's life. 8. Yes. Very upset customer screaming, I just listen to him carefully, when I got my first chance, I told him he was right and that we were sorry, than I ask him to calm down, that I was there to solve his problem in the best way possible. After some calls and emails the problem was solved. 1 week after I got a present from him, he was very happy. My best experience on the 1st level support. 7. Helping people to solve their problems. 8. Yes
