Awards/Engraving Ecommerce Website

THE PROJECT: A new ecommerce / information website to be created for a company that sells awards, promotional items, engraving, signs, printwear and ribbons. There is an existing website that is static HTML (created with Dreamweaver) that can be used as a reference found at [login to view URL] . We require a secure and robust database driven shopping cart system with many customizable options for the award and ribbon sections. The engraving, signs, printwear and promotional items sections will be information only at this time but we may add items for online purchase in these sections in the future. So flexibility/customization will be important in the shopping cart system chosen. The target market for this site will be individuals, corporations and organizations. The current main dollars are from organizations that do repeat business with us. Currently we ship all over the United States and some Overseas (especially with our ribbons) â?'?“ we wish to increase this substantially. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PROJECT BRIEF FOR FULL DETAILS ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
