copy email to new server

I have a new linux server. I need to copy the contents of 2 mail directories from the old server to the new server.

## Deliverables

I have bought a new linux server. It is in a different location to my old one. The old one is still running and I need to move a complete mailbox and all the messages it contains to the new server. The servers are identical as is the mail box user, username and password.

I tried to download and upload this stuff with ftp but the file permissions changed and it does not work.

Need to move it with something like wget and ensure the permissions are correct.

I can give you ssh root access to both servers.
