China Sourcing Agent / Supply Chain & Freight Management
$15-25 AUD / hora
We are an Australian Baby products business seeking a China Agent to manage the quality control and supply chain for orders we have produced in China, mainly in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
Most factories we have long standing relationships with and this job mainly consists of:
1. Ensuring the factories meet deadlines and quality requirements
2. Communicating with factory representatives to check on order status and ensuring production runs are running to schedule.
3. Co-ordinate between factories making different parts for the one product.
4. Regularly report order status back to head office in Australia.
5. Co-ordinate shipping of goods to Australia and other countries. Liasing with freight forwarders and ensuring the most cost effective method of shipping occurs.
6. Efficiently co-ordinate the ordering of parts and packaging to ensure correct lead times are not affected.
7. Occasional visits to factories for QC or arranging a QC inspector to visit.
8. Occasionally sourcing new products and negotiating with factories.
9. Co-ordinating samples
This position does not involve much product sourcing but is more focused on managing orders.
Requirements:
1. Strong experiencing in managing and co-ordintaing product orders and high levels of quality control.
2. Strong English and Chinese speaking skills.
3. Reliable communication on email and skype is required with head office in Australia. You must have a VPN and also must have paypal.
4. It is a requirement that only 1 person operates this job (this cannot be outsourced to another person on your behalf).
