Create an Triple Triad Clone Game

I want to create the definitive Triple Triad version for iOs, as there are no decent ones. Triple Triad is a card game. It's a mini game in the famous psx game Final Fantasy 8. I'm not going to use any resources from that game, just the idea and mechanics of the game. I will be creating my own artwork. The basic premise of this game is you having a deck of cards and you need to pick 6 to play the game. Each card has 4 values on it, one for the top, bottom, left and right side of the card. Then the cards need to be placed on a 3x3 grid. The cards then need to interact with each other based on the rules set for the game.
