Developing a Class in Visual Basic .NET or C# .NET for Server- Client- Communication with Database Synchronization and File Transfer.

Hi, I am kind of expert using TCP/IP for a project. But I dont understand the database synchronization part. Will it be happen between MySql and Sqlite database or will it sync the other client db too ? Thanks

Hey, I saw you new project. I wanted to clarify a few things. I do not understand the reason for creating a server-side service that listens to requests, fetches data and transfers back. Usually in this type of application, the client connects to the remote data that holds all user privileges and returns results on query. This also ensures data integrity and that user rights are never violated. Same goes for File transfers. The standard is to have an FTP server running with several used with access privileges. The client then access the files remotely. If it is about the security, let me ensure you that a filezilla or Godaddy FTP server or a MS SQL Server, when properly configured, is much more secured than a VB.NET code anyone on this site will make.
