Car Position Management with the PC-GPS application

I have PC version of GPS program that runs with predefined GPS coordinations and MAP (jpeg or gif) for the Parking Lot management. I want to build the second version of the program with following feature. 1. Interaction with Database (mySQL) : Build the table layout (include Car-ID, Parking Cell number, maybe GPS coordination, etc) using the map attached. 2. Fill out with rectangular shape(Car) in each parking cell, if the car occupied. (Read from database) 3. The program allows user to navigate the parking lot and display the parking cell status. 3. The program allows user to select/deselect the Car with shape change (toggling Fill Rectangle or not). Mutiple choice may be applied. 4. With action button, the program inserts data (Car-ID and Parking Space Number) into database. GPS receiver: Globalsat bu-353, but any serial GPS receiver (NMEA protocol).
