Hi there,
My name is Simon, and I've got quite a large project that you might be interested to seek your teeth into! Basically, I am a professional poker player, and I'm after a script that runs with the Pokerstars client (the poker site I use), that basically allows you to automatically sit at a new table to the left of certain players that sit down (recreational players). The program already exists but it's impossible to get hold of because its value is so high to each player (esp at the higher stakes) compared to not having it. Its a massive advantage to have because it gets you onto the most profitable tables before anyone else, and quite a few players have them now so its often hard to get onto a new table at all because its filled literally within three seconds after a fish sits (recreational player).
Pokerstars has a colour coded noting system, whereby players can note other players a certain colour if they think they are good, ok, bad, terrible etc etc, and I think the scripts that have been written (and I would like you to do the same) works so that it identifies players with a certain colour code and automatically sits to the left of them when they join a table. This gives you 'position' on the weaker player at the table which is a massive advantage especially when you are playing at higher stakes where having any sort of edge counts for a lot more.
Pokerstars have also openly said that these 'seating scripts' are perfectly acceptable so no problems that end. I hope I've explained it well enough... just let me know of any details or questions that you will undoubtedly have, and hopefully get this done!
p.s. With regards to cost, I have a ball park in mind for how long/how much I think it will cost but would like to know what you think it might be.
