The introduction will have three parts:
Delicious Vegetables to Add To Your Dinner
- this section will list vegetables, their nutritional content (calories, protein, fiber, sodium, fat, sugars) - you can get this from: [login to view URL]
and one sentence about why they are good (this might be harder to find).
Please put the results into a spreadsheet with the columns
Vegetable, Quantity, Calories, Protein, Fiber, Sodium, Fat, Sugar, Sentance
The vegetables include:
Artichoke - 1 medium - 64 calories and 10 grams of fiber - Artichokes not only taste great, but also are high in iron, vitamin C, folacin, magnesium and fiber. They are best steamed.
Asparagus - 1/2 cup
Beet - 1/2 cup
Bok Choy - 1 cup
Broccoli - 1/2 cup
Brussels Sprouts - 1 cup
Butternut Squash - 1 cup
Carrots - 1/2 cup
Cauliflower - 1/2 cup
Corn - 1 ear
French beans - 1 cup
Green pepper - 1 small
Mushrooms - 1/2 cup (raw)
Okra - 1 cup Peas - 1 cup
Potato - medium baked potato
Summer Squash - 1 cup sliced
Winter Squash - 1 cup cubed
Sweet potatoes - 1 medium
Swiss chard - 1 cup cooked
