Looking for talented people, especially an experienced Python developer, to help design, develop and support source code management enterprise applications. An ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to adapt to changing needs, have a deep understanding of software development, effectively communicate to the team and client and capable of addressing issues in proactive manner. Roles and Responsibilities: Work closely with our engineers to understand, evaluate current tools, technologies and practices for identifying opportunities to evolve our CI/CD workflow Research, implement, pilot and deploy tools and integrations to increase the effectiveness of our clients Drive change to improve the productivity of our team Establish and consult on best practices and procedures for development and support Collaborate with others to troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues Required Skills: BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 5+ years of software development Minimum 3+ years of Linux (RHEL) administration, including LDAP, SSH Strong background with a minimum 3+ years experience in Python with knowledge of other scripting languages (Perl, Bash) Working knowledge of one or more version control systems (GitHub, Git, SVN) Strong oral and written communication skills addressing multiple levels of engineers and management Ability to execute with minimal supervision Ability to guide, motivate and provide vision to junior engineers A team-oriented player Additional preferred skills: Experience with monitoring tools and their implementation (Nagios, Sensu) Experience with configuration management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt Stack) Experience with CI build tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven) and artifact management (Artifactory) LAMP development background Understanding of networking (DNS, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP) Understanding the Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle /JIRA experience a plus Understanding of Java and Javascript a plus Other Requirements/Information: Must be able to work on-site in the client's location in Raleigh/Durham, NC
