A travel site built by my late husband needs transferring into WordPress

I have a travel website that comprises five European trips: I made the first three using Drumbeat 2000; my husband imported those three into Dreamweaver 8 and built a fourth site to be a portal for them all; and after he had died I used his portal to create the last trip - also, of course, in Dreamweaver 8. Because of the imports, the coding is in a state of total disarray. It's so dicey that I am too afraid to go into Dreamweaver and make any adjustments, as the only time I tried doing that I nearly destroyed the whole thing. I did a 1-day course yesterday to learn how to use WordPress to make a blogsite, and my instructor suggested, when I told her about this site, that I see if anyone could turn the whole site into a WordPress site. I see this as a marvellous solution: it would mean I could make adjustments to the cleaned-up site; and I could use it to 'spring' the blogsite I'll build. However, as I'm an age pensioner, I'm restricted to describing mine as a very small project - and my instructor of yesterday has told me that this kind of work is not complex or demanding. I guess what I need most is someone who has a kind nature and is willing to help a bereaved old lady tidy up her web affairs.
