Desktop GUI app to save microphone audio to disk in mp3 format

Hello, I am in need of a private software program which will record and save the audio data coming from the microphone,to disk. The purpose of this program is to digitalise all of my old audio casette and LP's. Since i have well over 200 hours of music on these tapes and LP's i am not looking forward to spending all of that time manually recording and saving the audio to disk,which brings me to the most important requirement of this program; It should autodetect when a song starts and ends,save the song,and start recording/saving the next song,and so on. You can probably have it autodetect when a song has ended by evaluating the soundvolume of the incoming stream or perhaps creating a 1 second memory buffer and evaluating the quantity of data in that buffer. Looks like a lot of work,but its probably less then you think if you are familiar with this type of work. ## Deliverables Requirements: The program should contain a basic Graphical User Interface containing the following: - Start button - Pause Button - Stop Button - CD title field where i can change the title - Track Number counter field where i can change the number - Field where i can change the location,files get saved to Program flow: (1) When i press the start button,the program will create a new folder called: -whatever i put in the CD title field-. (1) This folder must be created in the folder which i selected in the file location field. (2) The program resets the Track Number field to: 1 (3) The program starts recording the audio coming from the microphone,to the file called: Track + number in the track NR field. (3) This file must be saved in the folder,the program created when i pressed the start button. (4) The program detects when the song has ended,and stops saving the current file. (5) The program increments the Track number field's value by 1 and starts recording again (to the new file of course). (-) When i press the stop button,the track number field should reset to 0. (-) When i press the pause button,it should just pause the entire process. The program should save the data in MP3 format but if MP3 will not work for you,we can discuss alternate formats such as WAV. The program needs to operate on Windows XP or Windows VISTA but i prefere that the program is stable and working on both platforms. Either one will do,as long as the program functiones properly. I have no special sound quality requirements,just that it sounds good like any other song on a CD. Thats it.
