Create art consisting character models, animations, and item models for a 3D MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game). If you don't know what a 3D MMORPG is, you shouldn't work on this project. For examples of the desired art please reference Everquest, Dark Ages Of Camelot, Starwars Galaxies, Lineage II, and Anarchy Online. REQUIREMENTS: Art must be in a format fully compatible and ready to use with the DirectX 9 compatible 3D game engine of your choice (Windows XP compatibility required). The 3D engine your art will be designed for *must* be clearly stated. Models and animations must be able to be edited in 3ds max, Maya, or a freely available 3D editor. The animations must be skeletal animations. This enables the same animation (i.e. laughing) to be used to animate several different biped models without having to create a specific animation for each biped model. Art must have a fantasy theme. Atleast 20 biped models, atleast human male, human female, high elf male, high elf female, dark elf male, dark elf female, dwarf male, dwarf female, orc, goblin, ogre, skeleton, zombie. Atleast 20 biped animations, including running, walking, punching, swinging sword, being hit, and dying. Beyond that, anything goes (i.e. waving, laughing, jumping, saluting), however animations are only different if the described action is different. Atleast 4 quadraped models (i.e. horse, wolf, bear, tiger). Atleast 5 quadraped animations, including running, walking, attacking, being hit, and dying. Biped models must support displayable equipment, such as armor, clothing, and weapons. Displayable equipment must be able to be either a texture map or an actual 3D model that fits most of the biped models. Displayable equipment slots must include: head (hat/helmet), chest, arms (bracers), hands (gloves), legs (pants), feet (boots). Atleast 5 different displayable weapons, including atleast a dagger, longsword, ax, hammer, club. Atleast 4 types of displayable chest armor: plate, leather, chainmail, and scalemail. Atleast 2 types of displayable gloves: leather or plate gauntlets. Atleast 3 types of displayable pants: leather, chain, or plate. Atleast 2 types of displayable boots: leather or plate. Atleast 2 types of displayable headgear: hat or helment.
## Deliverables
1) Art must be able to be reviewed prior to acceptance. 2) Art must meet all the requirements in the description. 3) Art must be of good quality and not be flawed in the reasonable opinion of somebody familar with the reference games mentioned in the description. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
