Corporate Website Design

TMM is a services company providing professional services in Maritime Management as well as Software Development. We are currently in the process of creating our web presence and need assistance in the graphical design of our website. The successfull bidder will be required to create templates for the various portions of our website: - Header and footer to be part of all web pages for our Maritime Management business and separate ones for the Systems business. - Two Menu bars for each business for navigating pages in that business unit. One menu is available at all times. The other menu is only available for the authenticated user. Each menu item may have a sub menu. - A template for webpage on Maritime Management business and one for Software Systems business. - A template for web forms. - A template for tables. - Icons for the various buttons on the website. For example Help, Submit, Add, Next etc. All designs will be an extension to our LOGO. Please visit [url removed, login to view] for the logo design. A .psd file for the logo will be provided to the selected coder. The website should look professional, elegant yet simple. All pages should be loadable in 30-45 seconds on a 28.8 kbps modem connection. You are encouraged to use techniques whereby subsequent pages are loaded faster. All work should be original. Sources for the graphics will be required in .psd format. In your bid please provide projects/sample work done by YOU only and that are releavant to the requirements above. Also provide a description of your proposed design. This work will be done in the following phases: - Coder submits multiple designs. - One design is accepted with request for modifications or more designs are requested. - The selected design is modified by coder. - The design is accepted or resent to the coder for corrections.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

The website is hosted on a linux machine, and has access to PHP and MySQL.
