Betfair / Betdaq betting bot

We require a betting bot to be run as a desktop applicationunder Windows (XP/ Vista). It will place betsvia the Betdaq or Betfair free APIs (selectable within the user interface ofthe bot).? The bot will also need to 'read' information from an external public site by means of a 'screenscraper'.? The selections actual selevtions are provided to the bot by means of a filewhich the bot will download from a central file server (ie the selections themsleves are made by a human operator in advance.? A simple applicationfor formatting/editing/ creating? thisdownload file must also be provided.? ## Deliverables We require a betting bot to be run as a desktop applicationunder Windows (XP/ Vista). The bot must be written in such as way as to comply with the terms ofthe APIs as regards maximum requests etc. The selections are provided to the bot by means of a filewhich the bot will download from a central file server. A simple applicationfor formatting/editing/ creating? thisdownload file must also be provided. The end user of the bot will NOT have theability to enter their own selections, but may manually deselect any of thedownloaded selections at any time up to when the bet is placed. In deciding whether each of the selections becomes adefinite bet, the bot will monitor prices of the entire field for a race onboth Betfair/ Betdaq (depending on the selection made by the user initially)and also the starting prices as displayed on oddschecker.com. A ‘screen scaper’for this site will thus be required, as well as some logic to enable the bot toknow which page of oddschecker to look at. The bot will also monitor the numberof runners ??" if this falls below a preset number (from the original downloadeddata file) all selections for that race are void. Using simple arithmetic logic (that is not disclosed herebut will be supplied in detail to the winning bidder) the bot will ‘rule out’selections upto one minute before the scheduled off time, if they fall outsidegiven rules. If any remain at one minute to off time the bot will attemptto place a bet ??" making repeated attempts up to the off time if the bet is nottaken.
