***WHO ARE WE***
We are 13 public regional broadcasters from the Netherlands.
***THE PROJECT***
Each broadcasting station has it's online products (website, mobile site, Android apps, iPhone apps, Ipad apps etc) with it's own tools to collect the stats of that product. To make things clearer and easier to compare we want to create a online tool / website to do this. As not every station uses the same collection scripts it will require some creative thoughts. Each station must have it's own login to see it's own collected data and it's dashboard can be filled with widgets for live displaying the statistics on a screen. There must also be a master login that can see all data and make comparisons and automatic reporting by email.
***MINIMUM REQUIRED FEATURES***
Secure login system with groups (broadcasting stations) and users
Master account to acces all data
Possibility for multiple Google Analytics profiles / accounts (Google Analytics API)
Possibility for multiple Flurry profiles ([login to view URL] API)
Possibility for multiple Sawmill profiles ([login to view URL] API)
Possibility for multiple Chartbeat profiles for live data ([login to view URL] API)
Possibility for multiple CasterStats profiles for live data ([login to view URL] API)
Modulair setup so future API's can be included
Modulair setup for new channels (webtv, narrowcasting, future technology)
Export function of selection of collected data to CSV, XML
Dashboard with personal settings / template of collected and live data
Advanced filtering of data (date selection / device / source etc)
Automatic email of reports (which can be defined by the user)
Cronjobs to collect all the data in the background
***YOUR JOB***
Your job we be to do it all :)
- First you will have to make a functional design document to shape the idea into a working design. In this process your FEEDBACK IS EXPECTED (After completion and approvement of the document, the building will start. This document will function as the guide and the requirements of the project)
- Writing of the code / widgets / api scripts. (The code will be measured to the PSR-1 coding standards)
- Making the design (Not a lot of requirements as a personal template must be an option. But for the default template you have to provide it should be fresh and modern)
