Blogspot site with Jquery needed

I'm looking to build a blogspot site that looks more like a website instead of blog. The goal is to create a simple site which pops when the viewer lands on it. I do not want to make it too busy. In brief, I believe that callers will call my office based upon visual appeal and not on substance. I have tried to use other custom pre-made blogspot templates and I have found that they are glitchy. As such, I am unable to make changes to the template after they are uploaded. It is very important that the customization does not destroy the ease of inputing new pages in the future. We will be updating the site and adding pages on a daily basis. As such, it needs to have the functionality of a classic bloogspot site. The home page needs to have a query slider and two columns. The column on the right will have contact information such as email me now, name, phone number, message, etc. The column on the left will have generic website information.
