Description: A company sells parts. I need a VB application that keeps a list of all the products they sell and calculates and stores the daily itemized sales report. It needs to maintain 2 sequential access files. One file, [url removed, login to view] contains data about product id, product name and price of each item. The program should be able to add, delete and edit the data about any item stored in this [url removed, login to view] the end of the day an employee uses the app to calculate and print the daily itemised sales report. He enters the product id and number of units sold of an item. The program stores the date, product id, product name, amt sold in dollar and total amt sold on that particular day in another sequential file called dailysales.txt. The company also offer 5% discount on all items during the first week of each month. The program should allow to: add data, delete, edit, show that list of all items on screen, save the data file on products, calculate daiily amt sold of each product, calc daily total amount sold, show daily itemised sales report on the screen and save it in a file, print a formatted and labelled control break report of daily itemised sale, provide a menu which includes all functions - file (print, save, exit), edit (add item, edit item), view (all items, today's sales). the program should read the fields from the sequential files into parallel arrays for processing. The files should be saved when the user selects save and whenever the user exits.. hierarchy chart also required for application.
