Hello everybody,
Here is the problem. I have created an ActiveX control in Visual Basic 6.0 with the DAO 3.6 object library.
1) I created a recordset property or an OpenRecordset Method where I can assign an outside [login to view URL] to the activeX control.
2) I created Navigation buttons
What happens is when I drop my control on a Bound Access form, set my control's recordset to the form's recordset, and I try to navigate the navigation works perfectly except that it locks the fields up in my form and I can no longer edit (I can navigate and edit with the form's built in navigation buttons but once I click on my ActiveX control the access form no longer lets me edit however I can still navigate).
I have attached the ocx, the Visual Basic Code and an Access database with a Countries form. (The code behind the Access form is commented out. Making either method (Assigning the recordset property or using the OpenRecordset Method) to work is fine, both methods better.
I need somebody who can drop the control on that Bound access form where I can navigate and still edit or give me a solution that I can verify works in my ActiveX control.
The solution must use for the ActiveX Control.
